A debate performance is just a performance, it's theater. You can't really obtain a good judgment from a debate because people are lying and putting on a show. Then you expect someone to articulate simple answers to complex issues that can't be explained in a 1 minute answer.

@@1spiderrr if you’re talking about “defund the police,” educate yourself on that issue. it’s literally divesting funds from police departments and reallocating them to non-policing forms of public safety and community support, such as social services, youth services, housing, education, healthcare and other community resources. police are still going to be here, they just won’t receive the million-dollar and billion-dollar funds they usually get.
