The feature that never made it from its Prepar3d (P3D) version, the taxi cam! Apparently due to limitations, this is something that is not possible with MSFS (2020). Maybe someday. FS2024 maybe?

Sure did eat some frames with P3D but I don't see why ASOBO can't improve on that with new tech. Maybe FS2024? The upcoming A380/A350 will benefit from it as well. Oh and just to make clear in-case it isn't , THIS IS EDITED!

you need one computer to run the simulator and other to run the taxi cam to have a good perfomance lol if they wanna add it they need to implemented in a way that dont destroy the fps

When you click on the ground manuvering cameras on p3d the framerates drops to less that half instantly,, regardless of your hardware and graphics details settings, the sim needs to render 3 extra camera views just for the taxi cameras, it is more practical to just switch between inside to outside view camera. I would be a "cool" feature but not worth the extra computation tax.

Limitations of how a GPU works. Basically you'd have to "compute" or draw the same things twice in real time which would consume FPS faster than a GE90 drinks fuel. It is possible in FS2020, just won't give you the quality or FPS. There are smart people who always find a work around or perfect compromise. In xplane, Peter Hagar series had the quality scaled down to primitive levels and attached static images of the gear and wings instead of drawing a video of them. Toliss too found a way with way less quality but consumes FPS.

You’re right, but this was a thing in FSX. Modern GPUs are capable enough. I can think of a couple optimizations they could make like turning off tracing for the external cams.

most people run the sim on 1k gpu and high end specs with dlss3 im sure the 5 frames won't affect anything

Can someone help me with smearing of the plane .. nose n tail due to Frame Generation turn on. I'm not at all happy .. its working perfectly with Forza 5 all other games..

Well, camera and camera control / API is a mess with fs2020. I've always preferred p3ds camera which was like all other iterations of flight sim before. I really don't know why asobo didn't just take this over from the old one including the S key for changing views and the A key for different views in e.g. the cockpit. simple as that... I mean, they did take over the Y key for slew mode... And why TF is there after now alomost 4 years of fs2020 still no indication other than the seconds counting faster on the clock to see if you're in fast forward 2x, 4x, or even 8x???

This is something interesting only for us simmers, and specifically for some planes. If it requires a change in how MSFS handles the camera views (although pop out windows with external views was a thing already in FS9) Asobo will never implement this feature.
