This car is maybe the best, cheapest 1:16 Monstertruck there is! It is known onder JJRC Q117 or ZWN 16102.

I never had issue with car or radio range...you either got a bad rx or tx..possibly it got messed up driving in the sand etc..

Bro on the road it actually can reach 52kmh with all stock electronics and around 70+ kmh with 3s. This is the fastest 1/16 brushless car compared to it's rival hbx 16889a pro and mjx hyper go due to it's comes with 18t stock motor pinion instead of regular 14t.

Have you tried it on 3s? I just bought one brand new on marketplace for $50 with a few 2s batteries but I’ve got some 3s. It’s only a 25a esc though so don’t think it’s safe, but if you’re doing speedruns on 3s then maybe…

Mine is brushless version and the ESC is rated at 35A. But still its 2S battery inside and if i drive it hard even on 1 speed, motor gets hot,but its damn funn and fast even woth stock engine. And when i full trottle it in 3rd speed settings i get it why it cames with those rear wheels 😂😂

Bro! Have you tested SCY on 3S? How does the 35A regulator feel? I put the Radiator and Fan on the Engine!Fan on the 35A Regulator! Which 3S battery will do no harm? Without harming the regulator? Your experience is important to us, Bro!

True, it it insane on 3s. Oil shocks are cheap and really make a difference.

@@user-bh4mq3xs3k There is a channel on yt that tested it with 3s but if i'm not mistake with after market 45a esc. But even with 45a esc the speed reach with 2s just same as stock 35a esc.

It did fine. But sand will go everywhere. So a proper cleaning is advised

was looking to review this model and if worth buying. Slow motion doesnt help give a perspective of speed and age it would suit. I guess how hard is to repair and are spares easily obtainable? :)

How many hour battery is recharged with attached usb charger? INDICATOR on usb always show blinking red and green Led and i dont know what is the battery charging status. 4h charge and still the same blinking. The speed is realy 70kmh? On my eye 40 is max.

Hi, My chrarger that came with the car was defect, i had to replace it. I used it only ones to see how it works. Normally I use a proper balanced charger. The speed was 36km/h - 22mph

@@hofsplace I mean it is a fun car for cheap if you put in a lipo with 40c or 50c but I think the wltoys 979-b was way more durable for about same price.
