I'm commenting before watching the fight.....I'm a Barber fan(after only watched one fight LFA).....ill watch now and edit a reaction. Edit......damn, Barber is fierce.

I’ve watched this fight a number of times and 3 years later I think my initial reaction is the same: * Barber has tons of raw talent. She had prepared for this fight and it was a last minute substitution for Cifers… no training camp. Barber has the backing, coaching and was bigger and stronger than Cifers. I am a Barber fan and she will be a champion… and yet my take-always are…. Hannah was already a champion…. I have never seen more heart, toughness and class from any MMA fighter in many years. Her skills were impeccable… no quit in that little lady. That is what a champion is all about. I wish her well in anything she does.

Cifers way too small for 125 or Maycee is big for 125 either way huge size gap.

I wonder why they continually put a bigger girl against a smaller woman. The commentators are the worst too. Need some glasses I guess most of them are not seeing it that way. Thumbs down

they are the same weight class and maycee made the weight, this is completely part of the book

And so the inept or deliberately “ mismatched” fights continue unabated. A disgrace to the sport and clearly identifies the corrupt fight production companies. On tbe other hand… both scrappy athletes deserve respect for skills and no quit attitude…. especially Hannah!
