I love that turning MayDay away part a lot, mainly because Peter knows well that this memory was too painful for him, especially at a young age which makes it even worse. Now, he will make sure MayDay won't share the same amount of baggage and trauma, letting her know that things will be okay. What a good father. 🥹

@@resurrectionist1 In the Spider-Girl comic, Mayday doesn't go through any parental death (maybe Ben Reilly but that was when was a baby) since she already knows about power and responsibility from her parent's upbringing. If all the Maydays go through the same thing (canon events), then it is safe to say Peter and/or MJ won't die.

For those of you who aren't comic book nerds: those of us who read comic books know Mayday Parker as a teenage spider hero living in the future. Seeing her as a baby and finding out that Peter B Parker is THAT Peter Parker was a real treat. Peter B is going to end up pretty jaded and grumpy about the whole superhero thing by the time she is a teen.
