Vargas was never the same after Trinidad knocked him out. He was rushed into that fight and was not ready.

Every time I see "good fighters" like this pair right here; I remember JC Chavez record ...... 107-6-2 These guys had 26 wins but had 4-6 loses; when they were at the end of their boxing carrers....JC wasn't just great; but he was great for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.

Tal vez ambos ya no estaban en su mejor momento, pero malos boxeadores no eran, de hecho Ricardo Mayorga fue tricampeón mundial, y campeón en doble categoría AMB peso welter, CMB peso welter, (campeón unificado AMB-CMB), y campeón CMB peso Superwelter, (y de no ser por un "robo" o una decisión polémica en su pelea contra Cory Spinks hubiera sido tetracampeón mundial unificando los títulos AMB, CMB, IBF Peso welter), pero para ese momento ya no estaba en su prime, ya era un boxeador clase B, del 2001-2005 Ricardo Mayorga era un boxeador clase A, fue tricampeón mundial y estaba en su prime (mejor momento), a partir del 2006 inicia el inicio de su decadencia y en 2007 ya estaba decayendo como boxeador, de hecho Ricardo Mayorga pasó de ser un boxeador clase "A" pasó a ser un boxeador clase "B", y Fernando Vargas también fue un gran boxeador por los 2000, pero ya para ese momento estaba también en en full-decadencia y estaba en fuera de forma, de ser un boxeador clase A, pasó a ser un boxeador clase "C", de hecho esa fue su última pelea ante Ricardo Mayorga en el año 2007 y se retiró, saludos desde Guayaquil, Ecuador.

There were a plethora of foul blows thrown by Vargas. Vargas hit Mayorga with a total of at least 4 low blows in the 3rd round. He should have been disqualified.

If I was in Vargas corner I would say to him how do you plan on winning just posing you're making this guy look good let's start to fight or I'll throw in the towel but what do you expect from a corner put him in the ring was more experienced fighters way over experience this young man never stood a chance

Mayorga a pesar de 🐭Don 📝King 💰, ganó más de 8 millones de dólares durante su carrera y hoy no tiene nada ....Lamentablemente cayó en manos del estafador más funesto del boxeo 📝Don🐭King💰 que le robó por lo menos alrededor del 60% real de sus ganancias..!!
