Lovely footage from the Manton Bay nest this morning, where we see Maya, 33(11), and 1R0 all landing on the nest in quick succession after 33(11) brings in a fish for breakfast.
Now the 1R0 has fledged we are seeing less activity on the nest itself, but all three of our Manton Bay Osprey continue to remain close, either on the perch, in the trees, or flying around the Bay. It’s the best time to see them in person down on the Reserve.
We would expect to see 1R0 stay in Rutland until mid/late August when he will then begin his first migration towards West Africa.
