Thanks for the video, been fighting with this code for a year or so now. Usually I can run the washer again and it works okay but this is definitely the true fix. Tore mine apart to find my cold water filter clogged with tons of iron build up. Thanks again!

Thanks saved a week's worth of laundry from not gettin done 🤙🏽 however on my model figured out I could just unplug the unit (for safety), turn off water valves, and undo hoses at the back of the washer and then pull the filters out. Hot water in particular was more gunked up on mine; ran fine when doing laundry loads with only cold water, but now runs perfect. Cheers

I have this EXACT PROB,EM with my Maytag! We have had it less than a year, but we also have three crazy shedding animals! I guess I can just pray that’s what the problem is. This video was extreme,y helpful!

Thanks a ton for posting this video. It fixed my issue and saved me a ton of money and time. However I did cut a corner and just pulled the filter out with my pliers without taking that part off. Seemed to work fine for me!

I checked the hose… but didn’t get that deep into it. So will follow these steps to see if I can’t get this damn LF code fixed. Thanks!

I have the exact same washing machine & I have the LF code too, but the only difference is that water will collect in the drain pan the washing machine sits in. What would cause this issue?

I have the same washer and when you hit start it start filling but comes out the front of the washer where you put the detergent in I take the tray out and it’s filled with water where it go’s into the drum

Question... can the filter not be pulled from the back without taking the top off and taking the part out? Or does that risk damaging the components.

Funny, but LF code kicks in only after 6,5 min of operation. You finished your video on 55 min on machine which means that you were running it only 4 minutes after repair 😁
