The washer, luckily, I have not had the pleasure to work on yet. My repair videos are just things I need to fix out of necessity. This is not my job by any means. I worked on one washer back in the 90s, and it was probably an early 80s model. I would dread tearing into a newer one. I wish you the best of luck with it. Biggest issue to make sure is cleared - make sure your vent system is cleaned out. The hose to the outside and all. Our hose had air going outside, but was crazy stuffed in the hose. I replaced it (easier). That’s usually an issue if the clothes aren’t drying well.

If you have loss of power to the dryer, I would check the internal fused link. Aside from that, check your cords, outlets, etc and wiring in the house. I was just sharing my experience in figuring out how to do this myself. I'm not a certified repairman.

If you fast forward to 14:34 I'm pointing at a rectangular piece... That should be it... if memory serves correct. I hope that helps. What's it called? I really don't remember. We are talking a couple years ago now. How much was it? Not sure. it was one of those things I replaced in a hurry and before I was recording videos of fixing stuff.

Sorry you're having an issue with your dryer. You can do a reset on the dryer by unplugging it and leaving it without power for a minimum of 30 minutes. This may or may not help - I don't really know, but it's worth a try. Still getting the code? If you open the control panel and top of the dryer, you will find a tech sheet inside (you should see it in my video). This sheet has some troubleshooting steps that can help you determine exactly what the issue is. I'm sorry I'm not more definitive on the answer - I am just a guy sharing things I do. I'm not a tech person. I hope this helps.

You got the F3E6 code? If your drum is turning, but no heat, it’s more than likely in the thermostat pieces that I talked about. The heating element itself could be faulty. Also ALWAYS make sure to check your exhaust hose to make sure it’s not restricted - which is the most common issue that will cause a dryer to overheat and kick off fuses/parts.

hey, i have the same code showing up but no drum turning, i took it apart to clean out all the lint, but i think i screw it up when i kept manually turning the drum to the get out all of the lint and heard a click when i did it and noticed the filter didnt spin when the drum turns, whats the solution for this?

I would have to look back through things again, but I'm pretty sure there is a fuse there nearby that is for the heating element. Please MAKE SURE you have checked your vent line and it's not restricted. This causes a LOT of heating issues - the vent is stopped up or restricted and the dryer overheats - this takes out that fuse, or worse, starts a fire.
