At what part of the video do you show the fix? (how to change the water valve?) Must've missed it!!

This one just shows how to clean the little filter that is just prior to the water valve. If you want to replace the valve you just need to remove one little screws and pull the housing back towards you and then you can easily replace it.

This is what I've got with this washer that came with the 40 year old house I bought a year ago. No wonder my hot water heater went out ( at least the top element ) - all that stress from having to produce so much hot water that my washing machine was requiring. I was going to actually get a new washer, but if this is the issue, that is so much better.

I have a Maytag Atlantis that I purchased new in 2000, one day I washed some towels, in about an hour I figured they were done, when I opened the lid the towels were sitting in a half tub of water which never happened before, the power was on so it wasn't that, I reset the dial it filled and ran fine after but I noticed that in the rinse cycle, i have it set to warm cold, warm for wash cold for rinse but now when in the rinse cycle it only mixes hot and cold, the selector switch has no effect but it worked when stating the initial wash cycle, the beginning of 2020 I had to replace the lid switch and the bearing but it worked perfectly, if it were the solenoid valve I would assume that it wouldn't work at all but why does the selector switch work initially but not on the rinse, any advice would be greatly appreciated before I splash out, no pun intended, for a new valve.

I changed the inlet valve out and still no cold water so I looked at the hose and didn’t see anything still no cold water
