Maytag Washer Error F6 E2 Fix

In this video I describe how to potentially fix a Maytag F6 E2 error which indicates a communication failure between the control board and front panel.
Maytag does not cover this issue under their "Limited" 10 year warranty. After calling around to find parts the lowest cost I found was about $300 for a new control board. That's when I decided to tear the machine down and take a look. Glad I did. $0 fix

Holy Crap!! You're the only one who suggested this fix on KZfaq and it worked for my washer!! I'll be canceling the repair man appointment and getting more Christmas gifts for my family with the money I just saved...400 plus bucks!! Thanks!!

TY so much. Mine just died today, no power at all. I took it all apart like you did, cleaned the back of the solder points etc with alcohol and q tip and BOOM it's working agian. Saved me a few hundred bucks! Thanx

Thank you very much, my washing machine won't turn on the board, but the green light is flashing. Apart from cleaning with alcohol, clean the edges of the wires with a cutter, this was only where the wires ended at the connection😉

After cleaning your control panel and having it work again. Is it still working or did it give you the error code again?

@@Askmediy make sure you all the connectors in tightly and go over everything with a Qtip and alchohol. No rust in between any connections on the board
