I love Michael Wilding, and this is a charming film. Thanks for posting. (BTW - the subtitles are a bit off: e.g. “a seer” for “Boadicea”, “Halo” for “Harrow”, etc. - quite distracting)

Enjoyed this very much. Couple of in jokes at the expense of our two leads and you know you're in the land of escapist nonsense. At 11mins, "She looks a bit like Anna Neagle". And at 45mins, "A member of the Michael Wilding fan club". PS, Anna Neagle was 44 at the time of shooting.
