Beautiful vase of camphor wood and maple, woodturning

In this video, I made a vase made of camphor and maple wood, how to make it by cutting the wood into sharp triangles and combining them into a box, then cutting them at 15 degrees, for finishing using wood wax and beeswax

I am always amazed at the amount of planning and prep work that goes into your works before they ever see a lathe. Just how many days of preparation did this glue up take before you could turn it?

Thank you for appreciating my work, it took about 4 days to complete this work and to wait for the glue to dry it took 5 hours to get completely dry

The segmented part looks absolutely stunning. The collar at the top and lid looks like an afterthought... It's too bulky in comparison to the rest of the vase. Otherwise great work.
