My 2010 Mazda 3 2L made 318000 km when I traded it in - replaced an alternator and rear shocks - filter / oil every 7K - it didn't burn a drop of oil and ran perfectly. I now have a 2018 Mazda 3 2L with 100Km - zero problems.

I have a 2010 3 as well. I love the car, but I am now having issues with the TCM causing shifting issues. I think that I am going to trade it in and give a slightly used 3. Are you enjoying the 2018 so far? Are there any things that I should look out for that you have encountered? There really isn't another compact that has the looks or quality interior that the 3 does.

@@Thesaurcery4U2C There is a code reader for your OBD2 port that you should run a diagnostic on it and proceed according to what is discovered. Before buying any used car , get YOUR mechanic to check it out for you - it'll cost a couple of hundred but he will be able to see if there are any hidden issues. I have zero issues on my 2018.

@@nrich5127 Yes sir. I'm a halfway decent mechanic, and the best one among my family and friends. Lol. I just got my transmission control module back from upfix repairing it. I have run a multimeter through the wiring harness where I was shown to check, I've tested the solenoids after dropping the trans pan, i've got dead paint on the hood, and a back door got scraped at a store, so it's not worth the price of a new/used tranny. The interior is still almost perfect though. It's why I was watching videos, because they don't have that issue after like 2013? I believe. The TCM that I took off had already been repaired before me, so it's some gremlin that I don't want to put any more effort into trying to find. Everything and a trans shop said it was the TCM.

Why all the pictures of a turbo @1:00+ ?? And do you know why you cant preheat the engine with a Eberspächer or Webasto auxiliary combustion heater? You're supposed to mount a valve so only the passenger compartment is heated. Sounds weird to me.
