To get the most out of your Mazda 3's audio I believe is installing an aftermarket radio. Your stock radio only puts out so much power to the speakers, while an aftermarket provides much more and uses all the potential of the stock speakers for a better experience. Hey colton i was wondering if you could help me. i dont know the color of constant 12v in wires and it's not yellow. Also the ground wires because there is no black cable on the harness. Im installing aftermarket universal head unit. Thanks

I'm having issues with my 2010 mazda 3i. I did a pinoeer avh200ex double din. I ended up having databus communication issues have you ever faced this issue? I also did it with no steering wheel controls but have ordered the module for it.

Hey Colton! I have a question if you may have an idea on how to fix it. But I have a double din stereo installed. I was driving and all of a sudden it cut off and never turned back on. Could it be the fuse in the amp in the trunk? The amp isn't getting power I don't think. All the connection look solid though.

If the amp isn't getting power, you might've shorted the power line to the fuse. Or your ground isn't connected, or a wire simply came lose.

Hey Colton, I own a mazda 3 2008 2.3L hatchback & it comes with Bose Audio System. I got the same dash kit and my own double din head unit. i want to keep the top screen obviously since it shows gas millage and consumption lvl, and Ac controlls but anyways I wired the head unit to the after market wire adapter just fine plugged it in and got power to the head unit but i couldnt get any sound to play out of my speakers. is that a simple fix or is it more to it than just plug in and play? i got the idea myself the stock bose amplifire wasnt being powered to run any sound.. ? thanks

I know when you install a subwoofer in the Bose applied Mazda 3's you have to bypass the amp, this might be the same with the head unit!

You weren't really clear: are you selling or giving away your old 2DIN bezel or the bezel+head unit?

I wondering if I could bypass the steering wheel controls and still use an aftermarket head unit? Also wanting to swap out the door speakers

You don't need steering wheel controls to use an aftermarket head unit.

Dealing with my 2007 Mazda 3, everything works but I get no sound. Keep in mind I blew out the stock Bose amplifier and don't know whether to rewire the speakers straight to the unit, or could I wire them to the new amp

Hey Colton. Once the axxess adapter is wired and fully connected to the vehicle. Does it have to find the vehicle and radio Everytime you start your vehicle or once it finds em it's programmed to it permanently till reset

It'll be permanent, example this one installed came out of the other car & still worked!

I have a Mazda 3 2013 skyactive. Went to Visions wanting to upgrade the stereo but the seller told me I would loose the display on the little lcds screens that are at the top of dashboard ,the ones that show me fuel consumption,clock, temp all that stuff ... Is this actually what happens ? And if happens is there a way to avoid it ? Thanks !

You can retain it but you won't be able to control the screen or see certain functions, that's why a lot of people just get rid of it.

Hi I was wondering if you could help I hooked up all my wires for harness looked it over 3 times but I have no sound coming out but radio turns on and does everything else

Check if it's muted, make sure your phone volume is turned up, if all basic steps fail then you haven't color coded your wires properly or they aren't connected securely.
