Wow it works without the canbus control box thingy in the wiring harness. Most cars now requires the canbus box in order for the steering control to work.

Yes it does work on alot of (older)cars without canbus . Recent ones usually need the canbus.

Hello, I have a Mazda 2 with steering wheel controls, and you have the only video that shows the steering wheel control wiring. 1. Are the steering wheel wires in the same cluster of wires as the others? Speakers, etc. 2. Is this correct: Key 1(pink) to green/white Key 2 (brown/black) to black/red and green/black and blue/black (3 wires) I have watched your video about 8 times and pn the Key 2 wire it gets a bit jumbled, so that's why I'm asking. The factory radio has 3 plug-ins in the back. What do you do with the other plug-ins?

Hola porque conecto tantos cables en el número 2 yo estoy tratando de conectar una pantalla Kenwood ddx749wbt en un Mazda 2 igual y no me da 😭

did you have to remap (program the keys in settings) or it worked out of the box?

Yes u have to program the steeringwheel controls in the unit settings
