What can be wrong on mazda b1600 1981 if does not shift to reverse and gear hard to change and some times it change like it automatic or the clutch on

Here's the link for the mazda rubber boot cover I used: www.ebay.com/itm/2006-2015-Mazda-Miata-MX5-5-Speed-Transmission-Shift-Dust-Boot-Turret-Seal-OEM/201335854615?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 Here's the link for #2 rubber boot I used: www.ebay.com/itm/Mazda-Bseries-truck-1986-1993-New-OEM-manual-transmission-shifter-dust-boot/201599463869?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I got he bushing with used shifter assembly from Pick n Pull. It was like $6-7. I believe 86-93 Mazda b2000 and b2200 use the same transmissions and transmission parts.
