He mentioned he used to compete locally in Belgium when he was like 14, so that must've been 15-20 years ago. Then he fell off when he didn't see a career in it. So his beatbox knowledge must be old af. He knows a lot of the og beatboxers though.

MB14 went crazy in his quarter final which ended up screwing with his loop station. A lot of his stuff that he had in the chamber for this round and possibly the finals weren't available to do because his loop station was fried. That's why his second round of this matchup was very minimal. The "my loops are still messed up and I know why" was a legit thing that happened. MB14 was the favorite to win this GBB loopstation. Just a fun fact lol

This story is made up. He made a mistake with recording the bassline and therefore he couldn't finish the song. Thats why he said his loops are still messed up.

For reference, MB14's loopstation was actually messed up, it wasn't just a joke 😂 Apparently there was some sort of malfunction with it in an earlier round so he had to make do for this round.

There's no controversy in the decison for this one, for an equally epic but extremely divisive loop battle you gotta check Inkie vs NME which was so much of a controversy it arguably single handedly created a brand new category for gbb this year called 'Producer'

You should definitely check out the top 30 drops german loopstation. It's very different from this one, because they used a lot more FX and less classic beatboxing, but the quality is insane!

You are one of very few creators to recognize Toxicity that fast. What It Do Dave recognized it the fastest. Saro is undefeated. MB14's 2nd round was choppy because he was having technical difficulties, like he mentioned in his second bit and he had to do some improvising. He was also added to the competition at the last minute. He and Saro are a tag team together called Wolfgang. They did a live performance of Saro's 2nd round without loop stations, it was amazing as well.

I knew nothing about beatboxing, battles, looping or anything. Only beatboxing I'd ever seen or heard of was a bit of filler in late 80s early 90s rap and hip hop. I saw this video drop on Facebook and was absolutly blown away, and then fell down the KZfaq rabbit hole watching as much past and present content as i could and been hooked and a massive fan since, Would love to and going to make it my mission to go to a live event at some point in the future, gotta support this art and these artists! 👊 Check out some Thorsen, Balance and So-So if you haven't already. While I see why people love saro, I always feel like his loopstation stuff rarely showcases much technical beatboxing talent. He makes very simple sounds and turns them into more electronic sounding music which doesn't sound like beatboxing anymore. His loopstation skill is clearly phenomenal, but I personally prefer mb14s style
