Saro's 2nd round is why Brez did a similar slicing method and chopped the air in his battle the next year versus NME, as a nod to Saro

Little funny fact. Saro actually fell over on stage during the last drop of his second round. They cut to the crowd, then you can see him running back tk the loopstation when it goes back to the stage.

NME has performed that song "begin by letting go" a few times in battles. It's his favourite song because he said it like puts him in this zone where he can let go of his thoughts and let go of everything and enjoy the moment. It's also why he chose that song because the lyrics are about letting go in the moment

Saro is just a beast and a joy to watch and listen too. I really like NME too but you gotta feel sorry for him, he's been in a few battles that have become legendary and if he was against anyone else things could have been very different... In my opinion it looks like NME was freestyling and countering Saro in the second round, biting his style a bit and the obvious copy with the "chin beat" Would be interesting to know from him if he had some material ready and if he did indeed do that round on the fly - which takes a lot of balls,

so from that what i know the part from NME´s second round before the first drop was a reference to Saro´s english. because Saro can´t speak it that well What NME was trying to use against him. how well it worked out is again another story.

Nme's move in his round was as someone point out a reference to Saro's very bad english back then. The first round with see of Saro was actually is second attempt. He had an issue with his loopstation on the first round and had to stop it. But he struggled to explain it the judges before getting his second attempt. That is what NME was making fun off. Sadly this part was cut off from the video, so that move doesn't makes much sense for the viewer that arent aware of Saro's issue. That also explain why you can see him seriously shaking at some point during his first round.

True fact. This is the only battle where Saro lost 1 vote. But it was from an American rapper from Florida who probably knew f all about looping and was never invited again to judge. Shout out TYTE, you didn't represent my country proud with your dumb a*** vote for NME! Saro dominated this and it wasn't close.
