Meet Ashley, age 34, who lives in Houston, Texas. Ashley’s strength of character has helped her face some tough times, including diagnosis with metastatic breast cancer (MBC). But she notes that being strong is sometimes a front she puts up, and finding true support from other people has been invaluable. Refusing to allow her life to be defined by MBC, Ashley is determined to finish her accounting degree and continue to fulfill her dreams.
