Whether this is your first breast cancer diagnosis or you have had breast cancer before, learning you have metastatic breast cancer is likely to be overwhelming. This session is designed to provide you with the medical information and practical support necessary to help you make informed decisions about your treatment and to get your bearings during the first few months after a metastatic diagnosis. For those diagnosed in the last few months, Tufia Haddad, MD addresses possible changes to the management of your diagnosis and first treatment plan because of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as questions to ask your healthcare team about the future.

My mother was diagnosed with mbc. I am very stoic man usually, but I couldn't hold back my tears. It is so devastating to hear my dear mom has this terrible disease.

I was part of a clinical trial double blind study but I very unfortunately had an allergic reaction to the chemotherapy drug Paclitaxel not the clinical trial drug

Really hard for care givers to take time for their medical tests. They need help also getting to checkups, not going alone, and lunch afterwards.

My mom lived 18mo (she was 55) , of inflammatory breast cancer. My dad passed when he was 27 of Hodgkins. Sad .😢

With all due respect to the Oncologist here, she is naive to think she has any idea about what It's actually like to have metastatic breast cancer. I feel it is disingenuous of her and also very arrogant to make this assumption when in reality she hasn't a clue what it's like to live like you're dying every day.

Agree as well. There's a big difference from seeing it and living/dying with it 💜🧡
