Curious on how you are hiding your screws?? Don't know if it's just the video but I couldn't see any filled screw holes

No screws. All glue and clamps with Brad nails. He has a few videos talking about it and showing the strength 👍

I've built a box out of thick plexiglass and used only glue no screws with 2 round plexiglass ports. I paid a company to cnc port holes didn't even use glue on those. Just a 2×4 to protect the port and slowly hammer the top of 2×4. Never had a problem. Biggest problem was glue dried too fast and hard to clean extra off plexiglass. (BTW about 4 cubic ft with a 50lb sub with 1,400 watt class ab amp NO BRACING) . I doing car audio for over 25 yrs and can't think of any car audio shops that use screws on wood boxes

Box looks nice! With all due respect... you have a triple Baffle with single walls all the way around ..... Structural Integrity is in question, trust me , I build boxes too. I would rather of seen Double Baffle, Double wall all around. 4 - 15s of mediocre quality are gonna chew it up. All that weight on single walls.....hmmmm...... None the less, it's a nice design I'll respect it when the laws of physics are respected, lol... you know I mean proper box laws for you literal guys

That’s about 10k-15k rms or more you got the electrical for that if so you’ll have an insane set up and about 260 just in sub weight alone. I just got a RS Team 15 custom made with a stronger basket better soft parts and better spacing for more excursion the guy who built it say stock the team RS subs are highly Inefficient but can take abuse. My 15 will still take 5-8k rms but I’ll get more output vs a stock one.

@@demigodq6083 I originally wanted to do 4 15's but after MB and I discussed I couldn't optimize with 4 15's...The box would be way above the window line which would need more bracing and cause to lose internal volume and also too close to the rear door, not giving the port enough room to donits thing...at the time the QClass 12s and 15s were on nationwide backorder...so I went with 2 Skar ZVX 15s...I am discussing with MB doing 4 12 Solo-X 12s when they come out later this year tho...Its loud now, made MB flinch when the bass dropped 😂

I have a very serious question, when tuning down this low do you lose power in the 45-58 hz range and is it all lows at that point? Or the lows are just much much more pronounced at that point and you still have the highs just very weak????? I know Obviously equalizations will help but i feel it still won’t sound genuinely strong or like the bass is supposed to hit hard there, i feel like once you bring the db slope up on the eq on the head unit with a box tuning far away from the hertz you’re increasing, the bass will sound forcefully hitting hard and not natural like any note close to or on tuning would do so, please don’t get confused on what I’m asking I’ll re explain if i have to

Once your out of the port tuning Its gonna sound like crap on the higher notes and at lower then tuning you risk ripping the surrounds or bottoming out the coils witch ever comes first. If you want even bass go sealed. Personally I like 25hz tune to 30hz. I don’t really listed you rap cause I’m not a kid anymore I listen to bass tracks or turn off my 15 that’s are in a ported box on An 8k and turn up my 4-10 I have in a sealed box on a 3k and listen to all different types of music including some older rap artists. I dint run my 10’s and 15’s together cause my 15’s are tuned just for my favorite bass albums

LOL That low??? You mean 33hz is low??? LMAO!!!!! My personal box is tuned at 25hz. Who gives a damn about 45hz. Tuning above 30hz should be against the law. LOL

both ports are tuned the same in a common chamber so no, its just a ported box. 6th orders have two separate chambers of different size and ports with different tuning. on 6ths you usually can’t see the subs unless its a wall or plexiglass windowed

I currently have 4 skar Vxf 15 in a 2008 Chrysler town and country the box I have now is decent but I always am looking to change things around it's obviously a SPL build so playing around with different boxes and tuning to get better numbers is always the goal what would a box like this one or a center slot port cost me I would want it finished all but the stain thanks for taking the time out to read this message I know you are swamped hope to hear from you have a blessed day

I agree. Like I said, it's a nice design, nice box, not taking that away from you MBE. But single walls are gonna seal it's fate. Quality subs are 50 lbs a piece, that's 200lbs sitting on single walls. Let's not talk about ZV5s, ZVXs, etc.etc. Those type of Subs will obliterate it. You might get away with 4 entry level 15s, but even then......Besides, when we're talking 4 -15s who's getting entry level anywayz......right.... Double Baffle, Double wall next time
