Mark's talk at 45:00 is so true and something you can't understand until you do it. I haven't appreciated the depth of Nike's slogan until adulthood. When I'm out doing cardio, I run one direction as opposed to a loop because I have to run the same distance back home, but I wouldn't cover that distance unless I forced myself into the scenario to rise to the ocassion. Just do it before you start thinking about it. Major key

Yes!!! The perfect video/podcast to ring in the New Year! I actually read Atomic Habits in 2019 which jump-started my life routine, and I'm so glad you guys are mentioning it! Also, I loved the part about word usage, where words like "should" and "could" have strong connotations. Reminds me of Don Miguel Ruiz and his book " The Four Agreements" where the magic of the word is very strong and should be utilized carefully. Keep it up guys and to everyone who watched/listened to this one, good luck to you all!! 💪🏃‍♂️

I am a homeschool mom of four, my youngest is 7 months old. Powerlifter. The biggest help for me has been doing cleaning routines around the house, because you are not going to want to do anything for yourself as a mom if you're living in a disaster. I have a Before Bed Routine, Morning Routine, laundry routine, the house is divided into zones so I do something called 'Zone work" for 15 minutes a day. There's a really cool idea called "completing the process" that I have learned through the FlyLady system and it has just changed my brain on how I do the housekeeping. I have found my workouts and my stretching and my breath work are so much more effective and I don't get the mom guilt about working out or going for a run whenever I am keeping on top of my routines. I probably actually clean for about an hour a day sprinkled throughout the day and everything stays clean it's actually pretty damn cool. This was an excellent episode, keep it up!

Over exercised n can’t sleep tonight so listening to something on the phone “ this podcast “ but I shouldn’t... On this note, my friend who is a personal trainer told me to start easy, don’t go crazy because most people burn out quick. Start off walking, then running, then jump rope, then do something more extreme and then hit the gym every morning. Make it a slow progression

The advise for movement first thing in the morning, and sunlight seems in many ways mutually exclusive, at least for most people. For instance sunrise today for where I live was 7:55am. rather its a morning walk, jump rope, or driving to the gym to lift - all this would have to happen before sunrise, in order for it to be done before work in the morning. I feel like a lot people are in a similar or same boat. Would be a good issue to address.

Yes, heard many people talking about walking around firstly at sunrise, before anything else. I’ve had off and on bad sleep since I was a teenager, now 24 and trying to correct it. I think I’ve had sleep apnea since 19. Even when I was 6’2” 200 pounds, i had it. Now 260, no end in sight.
