I just had the MBRP Axle back installed and the crimped pipe section replaced on m 2017 SS. It's way deeper and way louder than the OEM NPP. In three years I only changed my NPP from track mode to quiet mode three times so I didn't feel bad about removing the ability to switch modes. I also couldn't justify spending $1500-$2000 for an aftermarket exhaust with NPP if I'm never gonna switch modes. I'm totally satisfied with the sound increase and deepness. It's a big difference over stock NPP.

Is it a lot louder than the NPP? I can’t seem to find any videos that sound much louder than npp. This one sounds a tiny bit louder. Even borla atak, corsa extreme. They sound sound much louder than npp. Is it worth the 1000?

Question. Not sure if this is automatic but if it is what did you do with the AFM valves . I know the npp doesn’t trigger a CEL but how about the AFM valves the valves in front of the NPP valves
