In this video are clips shot by my brother and I in Canton, Massachusetts. A breakdown of the clips with a description of each is included below. Enjoy!

MBTX 1064 (EMD F40PH-2C) leads an outbound train toward Providence as MBTX 1520 (MBB, 1987) brings up the rear.

An unidentified cab car leads a presumed "rescue train," consisting of two sets of equipment, toward South Station, warning wannabe passengers with the horn. The locomotive in the middle of the train, an unidentified F40PH-2C, appears to be "dead-in-tow," as MBTX 1053 (EMD F40PH-2C) seems to provide power for the entire train.

What appears to be MBTX 1521 (MBB CTC-3) leads an inbound train into the station, stopping to pick up passengers before continuing inbound to South Station. Providing power from the rear is MBTX 1026 (EMD F40PH-2C).

MBTX 1069 (EMD F40PH-2C) leads an outbound train toward Stoughton, leaving the Northeast Corridor for the Stoughton Branch. Bringing up the rear is MBTX 1510 (MBB, 1987).

MBTX 2007 (MPI HSP46) blasts through the station at 79 mph with a nine-coach consist of Hyundai-Rotem and Kawasaki bilevels. Impressive, to say the least.

MBTX 1532 (MBB CTC-3) leads an inbound train toward South Station, as MBTX 1128 (GMD GP40MC) provides power from the rear.

MBTX 1711 (Kawasaki CTC-4) leads an inbound train, with an all-bilevel consist, toward South Station, as MBTX 1119 (GMD GP40MC) provides power from the rear.

MBTX 1075 (EMD F40PH-2C) leads an outbound train toward Stoughton as what appears to be MBTX 1808 (Hyundai Rotem, 2012) brings up the rear.

MBTX 1128 (GMD GP40MC) leads an outbound train toward Providence as MBTX 1532 (MMB, 1987) brings up the rear.

MBTX 1127 (GMD GP40MC) pushes an inbound train onto the Northeast Corridor, off of the Stoughton Branch. Adjacent to the locomotive is MBTX 236 (Pullman, 1978), covered in WGBH 89.7 wrap.

MBTX 1501 (MBB CTC-3) leads an inbound train into the station, stopping to pick up passengers. Due to technical difficulties, the locomotive on this train was not captured on video.

MBTX 1809 (Hyundai Rotem CTC-5) leads an inbound train off of the Stoughton Branch. Providing power from the rear is MBTX 1075 (EMD F40PH-2C).

MBTX 1532 (MBB CTC-3) leads an inbound train out of the station, toward Boston. Providing power from the rear is MBTX 1128 (GMD GP40MC).

MBTX 1532 (MBB CTC-3) leads the train seen in the previous clip into the station. I like the shot of this train making its approach on the banked curve. Unfortunately, I put the previous clip before this one when I should've put it in afterward. Whoops. Anyway, that's it.

I used to take Trains from Franklin MA-Boston MA and I've seen a train that had 8 double decker coaches but at 2:35 There's one that had 9 double decker coaches, that's a new record!

The most dangerous station in terms of the trains. This is because of the acelas. When's the announcement starts telling you the train is approaching, you have between 1 and 15 seconds to get off the tracks. That is not a lot of time. Maybe 20 or 25 if you are lucky.

Well up north of Boston you don't even have any sighs to warn you, also, the Acela's are faster at Mansfield and Rt 128 has a really long high level platform. Why would some dumbhead be on the tracks anyway?

Speeds in this section are limited by the curve over the Canton viaduct. It might be 130 for Acela and 120 for Regionals but 150 is definitely not allowed here.

Awesome Video Very rare to pull 2 sets like that through here unless one of them needs a rescue train.

Signal Hill Productions I usually don't know until I either hear or see that a train has been disabled or something like that. But even then,they could use a genset switcher or a P42 to handle the situation.

I know it's obviously not going to happen, but wouldn't it be great to see Bombarder M7s (or something like it) on the T commuter rail sometime in the future?

Yeah I want the MBTA one day to use a train that runs on the overhead electrical wires, what I'm saying is I want them to have some sort of electrical train or fast Diesel train one-day, like the fast Diesel high speed rail trains they have in the UK for Europe it would be cool. I had an idea for them to use a electrical train in there Providence line which runs on the Amtrak Acela And Northeast regional line the while train it would be cool but these are just some concepts maybe one day they will do it.

There pretty common.those double decker cars are on mostly every train.i just saw three today.

+Benjamin Buxton I was once on an Amtrak commuter train in Massachusetts that broke down. We had to wait for the next scheduled train to push our train. I'm guessing that double train in the video has the same situation.

Signal Hill Productions One train coupled to another is not that rare on the south side of the system from what I've heard or seen. There's a double draft(ur two trains as one) that runs on the Franklin line late at night. But that's usually an equipment move not a rescue train.

Brian G It was a rescue train so it's basically two trains mashed together
