+Type Tips INFJ here. Yes! :) I loved all of the pictures! Not only did they make it easier to understand what you were explaining but it made it fun and engaging. I wish more people did this because I want to hear their ideas in videos but most of the time just sitting and watching a person talk about stuff is pretty boring even if their ideas are fascinating. I cannot engage with them through the video and I find it boring. But I really like all of your videos :) especially this one! The first 10 seconds alone were magical! Amazing sound effects ;) But seriously :) I got sucked in literally within the first 10 seconds cause I could tell you really cared about the subject and had put a lot of time and effort into it. Thank you, this was wonderful on so many levels :)

As an INFJ this video only nicks the surface of how we tick..This is like the tutorial to a much bigger game..It just gives you an idea of how to proceed..It doesn't tell all of what to expect.

To be fair, if he'd gone over everything to expect, the video would have never ended. I thought this was a very good and accurate overview.

I agree @BUGHAITH A. that is the simplest way to deal with us, and let the chips fall where they may. However if someone made the effort to do all these things for me it would be amazing. I can go a very long way on the smallest amount of encouragement. People tend to look at me and think I have it together, when I really don't. They think I'm calm, when inside my head I'm constantly coaching myself through anxiety. So I'm fairly starved for the right kind of attention.

Interestingly, in my experience as an INFJ, the point about a certificate or a degree meaning nothing to an INFJ is absolutely true - when the certificate or degree is held by someone else. For myself, however, I've always struggled with issues of being misunderstood. Or, at least, having undeserving (Incompetent or unfitting in reality, despite that they may be certified somehow) authority figures invalidate my input in the eyes of others when I actually DO know what I'm talking about, and I DO know what I'm talking about when it comes to most things and even make it clear when I don't know enough about something to offer anything meaningful. I'm a jazz musician, and I'm working toward a master's degree in jazz performance, because I want to destroy the issue completely. I'm not trying to be manipulative, but I'm willing to use "superficial" means to make sure the truth is known.
@TypeTipsLeonTsao8 жыл бұрын
+Craig Abraham that's understandable. I seen true talents and bad talents carrying a sheet of paper that said they completed something.

As an INFJ I find it funny how you say about the vision changing the world. Not the world but society. I'm one with knowing the actual problems and how to fix them. In order to change society and make it better and improve everybody's lives, 2 things have to happen. The first is getting rid of the manipulators, their system, and the enabling going on there. The second is to remove gold, or what people call currency or money. I'm not going to go into any further with the public just yet. However, if you think on it, and apply cause and effect, positive and negative, with the understanding of manipulators, you'll eventually arive at the solution.

I have been trying to get back on good terms with my INFJ (not sure what is going on) but damn. This video helps. I am an INFP and it’s so hard for me to not try to “fix” things. She’s the best thing that’s happened to me. And I really don’t want to lose her.

Being critical does not mean not being authentic - an INFJ will respect the criticism if they know it is true and delivered from an authentic view... However if it is just a projection of the other person's creation or idea of what they perceive then it will be seen as such and either argued against or just outright rejected. INFJ's are said to loath conflict so will not put up a fight unless they wish to correct an injustice. However i suggest INFJs are more about harmonising a situation with farness. For an INFJ arguments are mutable as we understand all sides and will make a judgement based on 'the bigger picture' - this can really frustrate some who see this as indecision or procrastination; but of course the contrary is true.

This was frickin hilarious!! I loved your video ( I am an INFJ)...I see from other videos you are an INFP... the art sets us apart and I see this visually...we draw with ideas and break them down logically in contextual format using grids, lines (maybe some drawings but not our strong suit or at least mine)... not to say some INFJ's arent and cant be brilliant artists...I have just noticed that my INFP friends, seem to be able to transmute the inner picture to the outer world better in pictures...most of the INFJ's I know myself included I use graphs and grids and take far to reach ideas that most won't touch, or have dismissed as 'conspiracy' and track it logically...but I have noticed my INFP friends and even ENFP friends, the NF seems to give us an ability to see the same picture inside...but our outer expression, preference, and strengths separate us...though internally in many ways we are united. Nice work on educating poor unsuspecting souls who get into relationships with INFJ's un-prepared :)!

I'm at 5:48. With the not debating thing... Because of my desire for authenticity, I do want some pushback. I want you to really be able to believe in this vision too. And if you can't, then don't. Be honest, let me know if you can't agree, and I can still fit you into my framework and find some thing we can agree on, some perspectives that we have in common, and develop that with you, reaching consensus and a shared enlightenment, hope, and aspiration for the good of the world. If you're not a Christian, you're still a human, and so maybe we can talk about a cosmopolitan ideal that we can live in our own lives. Even though we're all different in our worldview, we can seek to understand one another's perspectives to make this world a better, kinder place (so I don't have to get hurt so much by it, lol [but my intuition tells me that this is not a selfish thing, because what is wrong in the world that is hurting me-these broken way of doing things-are also hurting lots of people
@alexanderduvall25678 жыл бұрын
besides myself, and so this vision isn't just about me, in fact I'm willing to suffer for this ideal to make the world a better place for others, even if it only magnifies my own personal present persecution (think MLK, who might not have been treated as terribly as he was if he had just shut up and lived a quiet life. But the INFJ cannot and will-not stand idly by others are hurt and treated unfairly. Where there is injustice, there we must be-in the heart of darkness, to burn away the dark, not killing the dragon, but changing it, redeeming it into a magnificent creature of light. And this light will be a light for the whole world. And wherever there once was darkness, now there shall be light. And what once was the reach of the darkness, now is the dominion of light and life and peace. Hope will rise with the wings of the dawn, and the night will give way to the break of day!)]).
@alexanderduvall25678 жыл бұрын
Rise, O children of the light! Rise, brother. Rise, sister. Rise mother and father. Rise, my child, and see that darkness is but the lack of light. Shine the light and darkness flees. Darkness wages war only with darkness, not with the light, and illumination brings an end to conflict, though it might seem to amplify it at first. But that is only because of lack of light. The light must make its way into the inner person of all, and then, with the eyes of our hearts enlighten, we ourselves will become a new source of light, or rather a sieve for the One True Light-He who was, and is, and is to come-and He brings healing to the world the working of His sacrifice, the sufferings of which we share whenever we put ourselves out there for another person. As C.S. Lewis said,
@alexanderduvall25678 жыл бұрын
“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.” For “It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.” Love is so worth it. Dare to love. Because love will change the world.
@alexanderduvall25678 жыл бұрын
How do I know? Because you are in it, and you are already beginning to feel it's tug at your heart. It is already beginning to change you. And in this is the light of God already beginning to shine into the world. Do not turn away from this light which is pouring into your heart, nor seek to substitute it for your own inner light-for your own light is insufficient, and only exists in as much as it is fed by His Light. Let this His Light flow within your veins, life. Embrace Him-let Him flow through your veins, and light will come to light and you will live. What once was a consuming fire, will become refined into pure and immaculate light-a holy flame. This stream of light, this pure river of light which flows from its Source will lead you to its Source, what you will find to truly be Home, in the arms of the Maker and Father, and into the loving arms of the Bridegroom, His Son Jesus Christ. He will put His Spirit within you and bring you back to life if you will receive it.
@alexanderduvall25678 жыл бұрын
Upon receiving it, you will discover however that you have never truly lived at all, but that now you live. For His presence is better than life.

Ok, this is really weird, maybe you can help me with this? As I listened, I related to both sides, deeply. I operate a lot like this, yet I am an isfp. It seems I want the same things an INFJ does, at least 85% of this video. And, I never needed to be told to "be" this way for an infj; I naturally have been able to do it. I've had 2 infj female friends and 1 male, and they all felt super supported by me, almost like I was their "go to" person. Can you explain how this Is? Regarding authenticity, and not being listened to (but primarily the listener), feeling complicated and misunderstood, and being a skeptic of others true motives and allowing them into my inner circle- so many of these traits seem even more isfp than infj to me? Also, I'd love a video on isfp....youve made a few where we are included, but yet I think we are still kind of glossed over amongst the other types in the video (trying not to sound critical, because I enjoyed all the videos immensely). As you know, in the mbti community we are underrepresented to a fault, and out of all the types I truly believe we are the most misunderstood as a group.
