Loved Funky 4 as a kid, loved US Girls in Beat Street and watching this, it makes you wonder how impactful Sha Rock would be abroad if that generation got to really flourish in the industry (post early 80s). She’s still such a star, natural emcee energy, and a presence! Would’ve loved to see what she would’ve been able to do throughout the years. Songs, movies, tv shows, hosting, voiceovers + more. I hope this blossoms into more opportunities for Sha-Rock!! Thanks for your contributions to all of our lives! Keep it up Rock the Bells 🙌🏾

This was beautifully done, I learned a lot from this FBA Legend/Icon.....The first Female MC of FBA Culture is one of the highest honors anyone can have, considering Hip-Hop is the most influential FBA Culture in recorder history and She's the pioneer the Queen of it all.....just amazing....She sounds like a God MC too.....🤣😂.....PEace..

met Sha at an awards show in 2014, she was really enjoying the moment with people acknowledging her, she even asked to get a pic together and of course I did, I have the picture on the wall in my lab framed with a copy of "that's the joint" 12 ", THANK YOU SHA, you truly are the greatest

As a baby (Born in 75) I didn't know her name when my cousins played the tapes. Sis was immortalized when Beat Street came out. By then I was old enough and already in love with the culture. Shout to her and all of the founders.
