I like Scorpion’s interactions with Jacqui. Pretty much establishing that she’ll be part of a clan that prizes family and loyalty.

Hilarious because Takeda didn't bother informing Scorpion of his whereabouts or even telling him about his engagement. I don't think Takeda feels part of Shirai Ryu. He left to distance himself from them.

@@tiaaaron3278 Well in MK10 Scorpion did tell Takeda that is future did not lie with the Shiry Riu once he became Chujin. Scorpion still griefs about his wife and son but he probably dosen't realise he has another chance at a family with Takeda and the Briggs.

I like that Johnny Cage is comic relief both in-universe and in-series; just that little touch of "yeah, despite the dark themes and imagery, it's also kinda silly" that helps add flavour to the game

Almost certainly unintentional, but Scorpion refusing to do a movie specifically because he'd have to star alongside Johnny might be a subtle nod that the last time Johnny and Scorpion were in a live action movie (1995) together, Johnny killed him 😅. Thanks to Kronika, that movie could be seen as canon (especially since his interaction with Sheeva confirms that Goro did indeed break his $500 sunglasses)

Out of all the things that happened in this, Rambo and Scorpion complimenting each other was the last thing I thought I needed, but I'm glad to see. Both have been through Hell. Rambo figuratively with 'Nam and Scorpion Literally. I'm kinda sad they didn't do much with their mutual respect.

I heard something about how scorpion was the elder gods champion or the elder gods betrayed him I've been searching on KZfaq Bout it but I can't find anything realating to it so if anyone can tell me something about it it would be great because he's my favorite character and I like to know story about my favorite character's🙂

It's from his ending in MK: Deception; Scorpion is made Champion of the Elder Gods to help defeat Onaga, which he ultimately ends up doing. It's later established that he did this so the Elder Gods would restore his family and clan, but the Elder Gods restore them as revenants instead of as humans which is why Scorpion turns against them. It's non-canon though.

It might be something like Raiden searching for champion in Mortal Kombat (MK1) and Scorpion's thirst for vengeance (he killed Sub-Zero I after winning him in kombat) lead Raiden choosing Liu Kang instead. Basically Scorpion chose his own immediate gratification instead of looking at long-term solutions. As result of that Sub-Zero I has become Noob Saibot - Quan Chi's personal assassin. Sub-Zero I was complicit (how much varies) in massacre which killed Scorpion's clan and family.
