Amazing man. Still regrets his confession signed under duress. Interesting that at a lot of the naysayers of John's heroics have never served their country yet seem to think they are Rambo. Reality is they would not last one week in the Hanoi Hilton.

McCain finish near the bottom of his intake at Naval Academy. The difference between him and Trump is that McCain admits it and laughs about it . Trump would’ve said that he was top of the class. RIP John McCain, American Warrior.

In a statement signalling that Mr Obama's campaign may attack Mr McCain over his wealth and apparent detachment from working class voters, he said: "I don't believe that Senator McCain doesn't care what's going on in the lives of Americans - I just think he doesn't know".

Brennan, others, their security clearances, and the press; At about 5:45 p.m. EDT on Monday, May 7, 2012, just before the evening newscasts, John Brennan, President Barack Obama's top White House adviser on counter-terrorism, held a small, private teleconference to brief former counter-terrorism advisers who have become frequent commentators on TV news shows. Brennan stressed that the plot was never a threat to the U.S. public or air safety because Washington had "inside control" over it. A few hours later, Clarke, who is a regular consultant to the network, concluded on ABC's Nightline that there was a Western spy or double-agent in on the plot: "The U.S. government is saying it never came close because they had insider information, insider control, which implies that they had somebody on the inside who wasn't going to let it happen." The British and US governments were forced to scramble and remove the agent from Al Queda in Yemen, and shut the program down before the agent was killed. www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-security-plot-spin/exclusive-did-white-house-spin-tip-a-covert-op-idUSBRE84H0OZ20120518

I known a few men that fought in ww2 and their stories are amazing to hear. Listening to McCain reminds me of them. They are getting very very old now..... One is over 100 if he's still alive. We used to spend time together, I'd help him with errands. One day at Walmart he had me paged as his wife! So I became his Walmart wife from that day forward he joked. If you ever get a chance go talk to a veteran. The stories they have to tell are one of a kind. I don't believe in war.... Unless one country is invading your own, what's the point? These men have been through hell and back, but have seen amazing things also. They should be honoured for doing the things they've done.

I understand where you are coming from and I may not have been able to forgive in th a situation. But you should understand that his first wife forgave him, as hurt as she was, she said he was a good person. And I guess when you think deeper you can't help who you fall in love with and supposedly there is a high rate of divorce among POW's. So yeah, I don't think he planned on hurting his first family but sometimes you can hurt people more by forcing something that no longer exists.

Trump and McCain ended up at the same barber shop. As they sat there, each being worked on by a different barber, not a word was spoken. As the barbers finished their shaves, the one who had Trump in his chair reached for the aftershave. But Donald was quick to stop him, saying: "No thanks. My wife Melania will smell that and think I've been in a brothel." The second barber turned to John and said, "How about you, Mr. McCain?" John replied, "Go right ahead; my wife Cindy doesn't know what the inside of a brothel smells like."
