Wait.... Vietnam show Mercy by not killing all prisoners & even let them celebrate Christmas and all you are talking about is a soldier? Sure he is brave and stuff but he was fighting for the wrong cause, dont paint him as a hero and turn Vietnam into some sort of villains! They were just trying to do what ever they can to protect their country against the US!
@howardbaxter25143 жыл бұрын
It was propaganda. Behind those photos was an evil and hideous truth. These prisoners were unbelievably tortured and suffered immensely. I’m not saying America was perfect during the war, but the actions committed by the North Vietnamese on American POWs should make you disgusted. In case you do not believe me, Rear Admiral Denton was able to pass proof of this by blinking the word TORTURE in Morse Code during an “interview” by the North Vietnamese. Additionally, “The Incredibly Stupid One,” Douglas gave accounts of everything that happened to himself and his fellow prisoners during the Paris Peace Accords, and brought immense light to the sufferings of his fellow countrymen.
