610 and 650 pistons and rings are different the 650 has a hight comp piston thats why it has a decomp valve and if you would care to look at the ports the 650 has bigger linet and exhaust ports and if you find a 650r they have a done top piston and go look in you parts manual the part no are different

I have 4 of them. And a Husqvarna 445e the old mccollughs work circles around it. I usually beat my buddies Husqvarna 450 rancher too.
