I was in a taste test study group for 6 new Mc D burgers. The one with crispy onion strings was my fave. It was on the menu for a little while before it disappeared. I think the specialty burgers were too much "work" for the employees

Recently for me, they're quarter pounder or double quarter pounder with cheese is where it's at. Feel like I get my money's worth with it.

yup same..instead of buying chicken nugget meal and big mac meal...i would just buy 2 mcdoubles for 2 bucks on the value menu...then buy the fries sep...then buy the 6 pc value nuggest...and a large sprite for the longest time that was roughly a lil over 10 dollars getting all that...2 mcdoubles (basically 2 big macs), 2 large fries, 6 nuggets, lrg drink....all bought sep no meals... if you bought it as meals.. 25 bucks for 2 big mac meals, nugget meal and drinks... trust...mcdonalds caught onto that...they changed their entire value menu to be about the same in price if you order sep... mcdonalds as gone to total crap...and here is why...all the illegals they hired and foreigners that are lazy af...all the young dumb teens that are stupid from pub ed and lazy af from social media and video games... nobody in the country works hard anymore...its all service based lazy af and the culture is lazy af and childish and pathetic... on top of all that you got corporate heads that are hardcore liberal and woke af...look up the red shoe movement funded by george soros...a third wave feminst movement to replace all white male ceos with poc female ceos... since then the hr dpts and marketing groups became super woke af...and most corporate america is now woke af and god awful like this...greedy af...and care little for anything else until we change the wokism and corporate america and the lazy work ethics and flooding the country with illegals...this will get worse and worse until they are literally feeding you cockroaches and rats

The last time I ordered the two for whatever price double cheeseburgers (plain + lettuce + mac sauce) I was charged I think 85 cents extra. I really dislike McDonalds to begin with and this didn't help. Condiments IMO should be free.

Same thing for the celebrity meals. For the Travis Scott meal they actually made a new item (lettuce on 1QP w/ Cheese) and the bbq sauce with the fries. The next meals were just already existing menu items in one meal. (Balvin meal was a Big Mac meal with a McFlurry).

I think this is right up there with their limited edition "gourmet" burgers. Maybe in other countries those are worth it, but where I'm from, all I tried so far have been quite bland and very expensive (sometimes the cost was similar to that of a decent quality, restaurant burger).

This is just beyond ridiculous. I'm in awe. Like, not only could you have bought these items and put them together yourself, but also you waste 4 burger buns. The whole thing makes zero sense. Someone was super high when they thought of this, and someone else was even more high to make this an actual thing.

I remember being able to buy just the extra chicken or meat patties. You could get a chicken sandwich with a beef patty that they put on it and they didn’t make you pay for the whole sandwich so it was sort of cheaper. But still a lot of money just for the meat imho.

@@elgatochurro Against my better judgment, I decided to try it. It went about as well as you'd expect. The flavor of the fish overpowered the chicken and hamburger. For most of the sandwich I couldn't even properly taste the constituent parts. It was just a horrible mash of food that I kept shoveling into my mouth. Afterwards I felt vaguely nauseous and needed to visit the restroom. I like Big Macs and McChickens. With this, I couldn't taste either of them - neither the sauce nor the meat.
