In today’s video we talk about the new reveals from McFarlane that make me wish Mattel would pick up the license again. As I always say this my personal opinion, let me know your thoughts down below. Thank you so much for watching!

I actually like the White Knight series. It is a niche style. If you look in that batcave, all the batmobiles were there, including the tumbler. It's a McFarlane exclusive because it's a hard sell. So when the Reeves batmobile and the tumbler drop, you'll probably be able to buy them upfront from most retailers or play clearance chicken. McFarlane makes choices that he wants for releases. A large chunk of his selection are odd as it is. I honestly appreciate some of that random stuff. There's probably something that you'll want that nobody else does. I've stopped a long time ago trying to make since of McFarlane. I want an Agent of the Bat Azreal with the wrist mounted flame blades, and he'll probably make it because he thinks it looks cool.

Why would you get mad at a store exclusive that’s a little obscure. That’s the perfect thing for store exclusives. Also reusing body molds helps pay for new stuff. It’s fine if you don’t buy them all

I don’t have any issues with reusing body molds, just when manufacturers are lazy and rerelease the EXACT same figure. In this case it’s the exact figure just in translucent plastic. If he had reused parts of the body to give us an alternate version of Joker I would have no issue with that. By the way, it’s irrelevant if it’s a store exclusive or not…there’s still a factory somewhere manufacturing them while we wait for something NEW from McFarlane instead of the same old nonsense.

@@Jasonzxzx just because they’re reusing a figure mold to extend the profit from that figure does not mean they would be making something else if not. They are in this to make money. They have to prioritize that. You’re a very hateful guy with the deleting of my comment and such. Good luck man

Black series have a holocomm series. Same molds in different plastic, but it totally makes sense in the Star Wars universe.

Cool video. I really hope we get a Reeves Batmobile soon! It’s interesting you mention that Hasbro doesn’t repaint the same figure over and over because that’s the reason I stopped collecting Hasbro. One has to look past a different head sculpt and they will notice that most if not all of the body molds are the exact same. Hasbro does exactly what you said, rereleasing the exact same body mold and try to pass it off as something new. In general, I am confused on whether you support or do not support a rerelease? I feel your points conflict with each other. The Three Jokers Comedian figure is exactly what you defended Hasbro for doing. The original figure has gone up in price in the aftermarket, it is rereleased with a different paint job, has extra accessories (I know the card stand and base is b.s. but still lol). I get you said the Hasbro figure is not one color/monotone translucent plastic but Hasbro will add one color to the figure and still charge full price. It seems like the same situation to me? Great points honestly. I personally think there’s a huge difference between reusing body molds and essentially releasing the same exact figure/character in just a different color. At least when Hasbro reuses their molds, for the most time, they are new characters that add value to your display. I guess there’s a very fine line there that Hasbro usually does a better job with. The blue transparent line to me just feels lazy.

Dont really care as long as it's not taking the spot of a more deserving batmobile but price is steep and the shipping doesn't help. Mcfarlane should really do a free shipping on certain spending limits

Well it’s I suppose it’s kind of taking a spot, in the sense that he chose to make this over other Batmobiles. It’s insane to me how he still charges for shipping, even if you are buying an entire wave.

Mcfarlane has poor distribution. I want a lot of his figures but I can't ever find the ones I want at retail. Teen Titan and Justice League figures are always in short supply. Red Tornado, Wonder Woman and Raven all disappeared at release! I just want to complete some comic teams like the WildC.A.T.S, Authority, Suicide Squad(comic), or even Doom Patrol. There is no emphasis on world building outside of the comic events the company selects like DC vs. VAMPIRES. 🤦🏾‍♂️

I just miss Mcfarlane back in the Halo days. It was annoying going to 5 Toys R Us' to find one figure, but this BS is stupid! I bailed out and have become an SHMA collector.

not everyone's opinion holds weight, some people have a more valued opinion because of education, seniority, or credentials so the opinions are like ass holes doesn't always apply.
