I am a huge fan of Chaka Khan..Just my humble opinion is that she is the most talented voice I have ever heard. I saw her once in a small exclusive nightclub just outside Denver Colorado. To hear her live is an experience I will never forget. This video I had not seen and with who she had as backgound just blew me away! Goosebumps!

Chaka Khan is the most powerful female vocalist on the planet today. I continually see her out and active in the music world. And I believe that she's invited to all of those engagements. From what I see, she has her choice of what she wants to do. There are so many events that I've watched her perform at. Chaka Khan's entire catalog of musical performances and recordings are monumental! I've watched documentaries on the 'greats' like Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin when they were struggling to revive their careers. Chaka Khan's singing career was never on life support, even when she was struggling with cocaine addiction.

Its crazy , I’d probably listened to this song by the Isley bros over a million times & didn’t realize how sensual and nasty this song is until Chaka sung this ...maybe it’s the vibe 🤷🏾♀️

My first concert was Chaka Khan when I was 13. Nathan East is probably the first bassist I ever knew by name from seeing him in the liner notes of my old Anita Baker cassettes. Two legends and two of my absolute favorites. Toss in Phillip and Phil as background singers and it's almost too good to be true.

Still remember a performance of Chaka together with the late George Duke on North sea Jazz in holland with jazzy songs and while that it was known it would be a jazzy performance (and it was really impressive) , a large part of the audience made it clear they expected "aint nobody"and Iám every woman etc. Seems the audience just doesn't want a artist to do their thing and be creative. "Panem et circenses" seems to be the case. Anyhow this clip with these bunch of extremely well talented artists seems to show the opposite.Amazing :-)

oh come on, the real power of Bob James is that never nobody is underrated! and if Phil have accepted to participate he is humble enough (like Chaka Khan and Philip Baley!) to share this beautiful piece with all these great musicians!
