As I listen to this masterpiece from 1981, it's amazing think this was actually on contemporary radio, on the actual Billboard Top 40, and was being listened to by millions of young people in 1981 from ages 15 to 30. The level of musicianship, songwriting, and performance is truly off the charts (no pun intended). No nudity, hos, n-words, c-words, b-words or any other insults and nudity required here, in order to get your point across as an entertainer/musician to an audience. Imagine that!! A big thank you to Lee Ritenour, Eric Tagg, and all the great musicians who contributed to this track and performance. Enjoy! Cheers, Sam.

Giulio Carmassi I'm amazed by how many people DON'T know who Phil Perry is. I inadvertently met Phil back in in 1976 at the Cellar Club in Toledo, Ohio when he was with the mighty Montclairs. To make a long story short, my band (who was used to receiving standing ovations during our sets) opened for the mighty Montclairs. The people were there to see the mighty Montclairs, and NOT us. So, no standing o's on that night. Phil and his boys opened their set with the Isley Brothers' "Live it up!" And it was pandemonium! Phil and his crew shut it down! In my entire touring career 1969-1976, we had only been ill received twice. That night with Phil and the mighty Montclairs was the first. No brag, just fact. I love Phil Perry!

The embarrassment of the radio today needs to emulate Phil Perry to bring back real musicians and real music so we can dispose of the shallow synthetic attempt at noise today. Facts

@J Jackson I realize that because I am one of those that spent many years doing the same.

SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SONG! THEY DON'T MAKE THIS GEM ANYMORE BRAVO!!!👏😎💯🎶

They actually DID make this gem again and it is AMAZING ! I am in awe of Lee and Phil Perry, all musicians on this one, excellence unparralled. But ONCE in awhile a producer comes along and does a revisit of a song and does it justice ! Such a Producer is Maurizio Metalli. Featuring the great Alen Hinds on guitar ! Phil P is not singing, but a very bad ass Robbie Wyckoff is, I bet you will love it ! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kLVpiaqinJfapYk.html
