Why don't you ever mention the people who are responsible for where the Mcintosh is today. Mile Nestorovic, the Serbian audio wizard, who designed the MC-3500 Amp. and many more, used on Greatfull dead and Woodstock, he launched the Mcintosh into space with his knowledge, right?

I have had mcintosh product and will never buy this product again. My remote control broke for my amplifier. I contacted 3 dealers for help and bought a new one. No one will help me after 6 months of waiting. I have written to the factory several times for help and have never received a reply. So after 2 years I have sold all my equipment which is mcintosh.

McIntosh is not considered highend audio like say PassLabs and Levinson. Image AN old 2205 and it uses tons of nfb has multiple amplifying stages with caps and signalpath, not real expensive parts but it sound nice nevertheless.

they make great stuff unlike the crap china makes in bulk, I will purchase their headphones soon, probably the best that are not outsourced to china. I just hope McIntosh keeps it in America and not lower themselves to greed like every other american

you'll be surprised how much is how much is outsourced. I know people that work there. For many years it was made in Japan. Still a great product.
