So, here's my I guess tier list of all these songs ordering from best to worst. I just wanna do this, don't mind me. Also this is long for no reason. 1: Believe. I just really like this one for no apparent reason. The lyrics are really meaningful for sure and the instrumental brings said lyrics to life and I guess gives it more emotion. It also represents Kaito's determination (?) to get to space and how he was running out of time, and also his determination for the group to get out alive. Also represents his UNDYING HOPE EVEN AS HE'S SLOWLY DYING. Plus how he tried to make everybody believe (hehe, pun) and basically taking up Kaede's role (sorry, Shuichi, but it's true.) It's really sad when you listen to it. That's why I love this one so much. 2: Just a Robot. I love this one because the lyrics are also very meaningful! Surprised? The song doesn't just show how he felt, but how everybody thought about him. Like, for example, how everybody thought he was 'just a robot,' it shows Kiibo I guess explaining that he's just like all of them, but different. But, in the end, he realized that maybe he *was* 'just a robot,' the *only* robot. Anyway, don't mind my dumb insignificant puns, just don't pay attention to them. But yeah, I guess that's all I have for this song. 3: 'Cause I'm a Liar. I adore this one because it was the first out of all of these I heard. It's pretty overrated but for all the right reasons. This one I have to say is also really meaningful with its lyrics, (there's a pattern, lol). It expresses how Kokichi held up a mask, explaining how faking something happy was easier, when in reality, he was miserable just like the rest of them. And how he has such a 'boring existence' for a liar. It also expresses how Kokichi *actually* convinced himself with his lies, asking himself, "Am I really a lair" and "does it seem that way to you?" saying they're all liars when it nears the end of the song. Everything about this song brings his whole character to life and I live for it. Well, that's what I got from the song anyway. 4: Hiding From The Truth. So this song represents Shuichi's fear of revealing the truth and how it may affect everybody around him. His uncertainty in the first trail and the trials to come on. He finds himself asking, "Is the truth really worth finding?" And lying to 'obscure the picture' and how it's easier to lie than finding the dreadful truth. How he would rather 'hide from the truth' because it's easier to deal without the truth. How it's excruciating to find the culprit because it could be any of them, his friends. That's what I get from the song anyway. I actually really like this one, I love all of them so rating them from best to worst is hard. 5: Killing Harmony. This one represents how Kaede felt about the killing game and the Mastermind. That's about it. Don't get me wrong, I love this one but I'm genuinely tired rn and I don't have any motivation to finish this lol. Sorry. Also terribly sorry this was weirdly long...
