MD-530F Arrival, Engine Start, and Departure

This is an MD Helicopters MD-530F owned by the Tennessee Valley Authority. The MD-530F is powered by a Rolls Royce 250-C30 engine with 650 shaft horsepower. The TVA uses these helicopters to work on powerlines and other things owned by the TVA. The pilot said that usually people are on the side of the helicopter working, but it is occasionally used for lifts. Thanks for watching and please like and subscribe. #aviation #planespotting

Una vez vi el Slogan: " HUGHES HELICÓPTER " ( tecnología adelantada a su tiempo) y era un eslogan de los 60's . Y vaya que lo es después de tantos años aún se mantiene vigente este increíble helicóptero conocido en todo el mundo. Realmente una obra maestra de la ingeniería aeronáutica.

@@ryanmadigan7964 not like that, shouldn’t pull on it that hard, it says in the flight manual to release the brake for the last revolution. Stopping the blades like that will put a lot of stress on the drive train.
