We had to get fuel and leave in a short time so the engine was a little hot.

Sorry! I needed two hands to get the damn door shut! Lol. I also had issues getting my headset on with one hand. I uploaded the departure as well in a separate video. Thank you for watching, more to come soon!

It’s an amazing ship. I’m also kind of going down the fixed wing path now, hopefully one day I’ll get back in a 500.

I demonstrated the sound of my 1997 toyota tacoma starting up for the engineers at McDonnell Douglas...and they copied it for their MD500E helicopter.

Why did you release the starter after hitting 150°C, you could've opened the throttle

@@Thedoctv He wanted to persevere his starter’s life. I think it would’ve been better to just open the throttle as well. Thank you for checking out the video!

Very hot the start near tô 800 degradee cent., The start need to put more rpm , maybe the gear box to this model is to much reduced and the start engine in 10 seconds no more encrase rpm and stay stabized strainger it, I think needing more rpm for to open fuel.

What is the max N1 % the starter will generate if you continue to motor it without adding fuel?

I’ve seen it get to right about 20% on a good day. When the battery is worn down a bit or the battery was off the charger for a day it’s been about 13%.
