I just really discovered these guys recently. At almost 60 years old I thought the real blues style rock was looong gone. But these guys, omg, I’d put these guys up with any of them with years ago. The raw energy and sound, while at the same time perfectly in sync, is just amazing. I can’t get enough of their music and friends and fam are sick of me talking about them. Rock on guys!

My favourite band in the last 10 years. Jay's viewpoint is interesting with regards to how quickly Rivals Sons tracks their records. The idea that doing it quickly keeps it more honest has some relevance for sure. However there are a lot of Rivals Sons tunes that are good, but could have been better with more practice/production. That said, one of the reasons I love Rival Sons is that their music evolves constantly because the songs were so "young" when they were recorded. The best example of this is Jordan - a good song recorded but an amazing song as it evolved played live.
