Just came in from chores here in Colorado. Sitting down with a cup of coffee. Getting ideas for dinners. Opening my mind and my life to new possibilities. And I must say, I feel so sad that Mr, What’s-for-Tea doesn’t like bacon. Poor, poor man . . .

Thank you for this recipe. Still got about 150g of steak in my freezer and now I only need a sheet of pastry. Worcester sauce is a good idea just to get more umami flavour.

Looks delicious as usual! I tried your recent Tuscan chicken pasta and we really liked it. I cut the recipe in half for 3 of us and still had leftovers. Husband found some ground lamb on sale this week, and seeing your shepherd's pie convinced me to use it for that. Thank you for the ideas!

I like how you say anything can be turned into a pie; I feel the same way about quiche! We usually have savory quiche made with leftovers about twice a month 😂

What a cute restaurant! I live in Florida USA so I loveeeeeee a meal on a river instead of a beach! It's less common and usually not well known unless you're local. 💚💚💚

Thanks for the picture going back to Scotland. Last time I did this it was raining in Scotland, dry in England. Meals looked great. Hope you are well.

Lovely meals Cheryl. Sorry I'm.a day late watching this we were out yesterday!! But for tea today I've made quiche , made my own pasrty then had mushrooms h cream to use up so did ham , mushroom, onion & cheese quiche. So just had my tea with quiche, jacket potato &vsalad, was delicious. Tomorrow I miggt have some with croquettes your quiche meal looked nice !! And rest of quiche in the freezer ( my husbabd don't like mushrooms & not a big quiche fan). I like my food piping hot so those individual dishes are good for keeping the food roasting hot.

Lovely plates of food. I'd love to visit Keswick. Love the welcome to Scotland sign. I feel the same way after leaving TN, usually for doctor appointments and visiting my kids (in Virginia) or automobile servicing (in North Carolina). I love the Welcome to Tennessee Signs. That new pasta dish looks yummy. Love ya.

Have you ever tried interesting macaroni cheese? Add chopped onions to the pasta water at the start of the pasta cooking, together with bite sized cauliflower florets. Towards the end of cooking add bite sized broccoli florets. Fry off and chop bacon or gammon. Make the cheese sauce according to taste. Slice a couple of Mushroom, half 8 cherry tomatos and add these to the hot cheese sauce together with the fried bacon and some frozen peas and sweetcorn. Drain pasta/veg and mix into cheese/veg mixture. Put into an oven proof dish , top with strong cheddar, and fresh Parmesan. Grill under a hot grill until topping is crispy and bubbling. Allow to cool for 5 mins or so as it is REALLY hot and burns your mouth!! Try this once and you will never eat plain macaroni cheese again

Still have yet to try cheeseburger pasta, but it looks super tasty as does your macaroni cheese!😋 Don’t normally go for meat free pasta dishes, but must say that your Roasted Veg & Feta Pappardelle pasta looked great, look forward to seeing you make this some time in the future. Oh...it's very much part of the Slimming World plan! 😄 I've lost a LOT of weight following the plan 🙂 and so have dozens of others I know....I don't know how it works, it just does! 😂
