Quality content again chaps. I presumed once you get to a low handicap like 7 that you have all the fundamentals nailed down but it just goes to show that you never stop learning and i shouldn't be as hard on myself as an 18 handicapper. PGA.....posture, grip, alignment. 👍⛳😁

Hello gentlemen! Love your videos! I have a question regarding shaft length and custom fitted clubs. I have always received my father's hand me downs. The issue is, he is about 2-3 inches shorter then I am. His clubs are custom fit to him. Could you do a series about how to adjust your posture/swing to clubs that are not the appropriate length for the golfer?

Could the club face improve at contact as well if his backswing was a bit slower and he had a slight pause at the top? I know I tend to bloc shots and push right when I am too fast. This was a great lesson.

Maybe but often speed isn’t the issue. Just alignment and path for Robin should do it.

I can hit the ball to the target if it’s straight in front of me . The problem is when I try to hit a target right or left , and I have to aim my body either way

All you guys missed here is putting an alignment stick sticking straight up about 5yds in front of him on the target line. Have him make sure to start the ball right of the stick. Chances are his eyes would freak out seeing the direction he actually wanted to start the ball on.

The feet together drill is a good way to see if you have control of the club.The fact Robin's lead wrist is more cupped than flat and leading beyond his lead thigh says he does not have control imo.

In the previous video you have asked me Are you a beginner? My ans :- yes sir, I am a beginner just I get to know about golf last month. When I get know about this game is also played in India, I just made a dream that one day I will become a golfer ( before that I didn't know about golf that much because it is not as popular as cricket in India and it is also very very expensive game for me 🥺)

Guys I've got £2000 to spend on improving my game. I've tried mostly everything now I'm dipping into my savings as one last go at this. My current options are: 1)buy some p790s get them fitted 2)I can get 40 1 hour lessons from my golf pro. So I take a week off work and do a 40 hour intensive week of golf instruction. 3)buy a launch monitor 4)go to a meditation retreat and try and rewire my thought process 5)sponsor a good young player for a year on the condition I can caddy for him and ask for tips on the course Any other suggestions greatly appreciated

Didn't Hogan set up his alignment with his feet according with the path he wanted to swing? Was he wrong?

That’s not wrong, but what was happening with Robin was instead of keeping the same swing plane like hogan would, he was coming more over the top in an attempt to hit the ball straight from behind because he was still aiming at the same target in his mind. The best explanation I’ve found is by Jack Nicklaus, to play a fade he would aim his entire body and swing plane slightly left of target, but he would open the club face slightly to force a slight right to left swing plane when viewed from behind straight at the final target. Hogan naturally hooked and eventually played a nice draw, to force a fade he would do something similar to what Nicklaus explains.

I can see immediately his sequencing is off. His first move is with the arms. He needs to start by moving his core to get on plane.

Haha! If only this was the case! - I assure you my G.I.R aren't even close to 80%. I do have a pretty good short game though. This can hide a multitude of sins.....
