@@jhamilton1007 Will you help Jay? Conservative leaders need to know how bad a treatement i have received! This is terrible! All because i was not able to meet them for an interview. They spoke to their leaders and it looks like communication has been axed on me, many weeks now not heard from them. No conservative pastor will speak out on this? They have assign me a life of isolation with no social contacts. Is that fair???? No one to help me cause it seem no one can. If i told you what church it was who are supporting me your going to get SHOCKED! Even my charismatic church i left won't do this to their members! They are bethel members. I am writing this out of desperation if you want the evidence send the email and i will show you the correspondance. One conservative and you know him told me i need to beg and beg so they will let me back is this what Jesus taught leaders to do? SO please help!!!!!!!!

Thank you Lord! Great encouragement to "get into the Word of God". Edified by the teaching of Ligonier and Dr Ferguson. It is always practical and biblically rich. The point about so many of us having multiple Bibles yet reading them less is a true one. It is probably one reason why Christians where Bibles are scarce long for God's Living Word and treasure it.

Each year I purchase a new Bible and write a note to my grandchild each day and give it to them at the end of the year. 8 grands will have a Bible from grandpa

Our Christian forefathers preached like this and it is evident in their writings. They preached an unadulterated gospel. Today you see as a prevalent problem, a 100 year old heresy which is deceiving many. Thank you Lord for Your grace and the gift of discernment. Nothing in my hand I bring. Thank you for your unfathomable grace. Thank you brother Sinclair for your faithful exposition of God’s truth. 2 Timothy 3: 14-16.

I can't even begin to calculate the amount of time I spent searching in other places, religions, etc. Only to come full circle back to Jesus and the Bible. It has all the answers for everything right there, we just have to be able to see it. I guess that's why I find it so funny when I see all the word salad being used on mainstream media. All that noise and nothing is said. Jesus is truth. Truth does not need many words, I'm coming to realize that more and more with every passing year

I used to think that I knew what words meant until I started looking up the definitions and found out that without being Biblically literate I was missing most of the meaning. One day I looked at the definition for antichrist. I assumed that it meant the devil. But it said that it’s- instead of, in place of, or in opposition to Christ. Then I started to see all of what was antichrist and I stopped watching tv. So much of our modern culture is antichrist. And since God is truth then the other stuff is lies. That “word salad” is lies and there’s a whole lot of lies being spoken. Once I could “see” I couldn’t unsee it. It’s like the lights came on and the Bible was suddenly clear to me. Then came the reality that I couldn’t do what it asked of me in my own strength. I recognize now that without God I am hopelessly lost in that darkness. Then I wanted to tell everyone and they didn’t want to hear it. 😳😂😢 I became aware that those two worlds existing side by side are not of the same spirit. I finally understood that the sword of Jesus mouth was what cut the one apart from the other. And the further I walked towards Christ the more clear it became there’s only the right way and the way people are doing it which happens to be wrong but to them it seems right. It’s a humbling vantage point. Then to realize that I was saved from that. Like watching a car wreck in front of me and I pass by without being struck but the cars keep wrecking and I am practically the only one still on the road. I don’t know how else to put it into words. I feel lucky but also sad for them.

@@boxelder9167 beautiful comment. I feel the same way :( but GOD works everything for good so we just have to keep the faith and pray for our loved ones and all mankind. The spiritual is becoming physical and if we have not been prepared by the word for what is coming then it seems to me we shall suffer the punishment of the left hand path. I am so thankful and grateful that we have a graceful and forgiving God. I know I fall so short everyday, but in my heart, all I want to do is his Will. I just wish I could understand what it is he wants me to do. Haha. I'm guessing patience is one of the things he's having me work on :-) sometimes, I just wish I could get a letter with some instructions in the mail! God is real, God is great, and God is pure Love. I hope someday we can all be the same. I am forever grateful for everything that the Lord has shown me and had I not had my faith in Jesus some of the experiences I have gone through could have easily ended path of pure devastation.

By grace we are saved through faith (Ephesians 2:8). Grace is given for obedience to the faith (Romans 1:5). Faith comes by hearing the word of God and do it (Romans 10:17, James 2:17). God tells us to remember and many religions don't. These are the false prophets God warns us in His word. God does not change (Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8). We are not to follow the doctrine of man (Mark 7:7, Matthew 15:8-10). The first Sunday law changing God's memorial to creation was March 7, 321 by Emperor Constantine and Pope Sylvester. Those that keep His commandments go to heaven (Revelation 22:14).

What is the gifts of the Holy Spirit? That would be what comes from the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is the Holy Spirit and it contains everything needed to see us through to the next coming. It contains our hope, our armour, our strength and most anything else that money can't buy. The armour of God preserves us, protects us from evil, plagues, deceptions etc.. The more who apply it, helps to back off evil, hopefully to the point where we can win this battle against evil. The only way to stop evil is with good and what is good but God? Muslims see their Quaran as their god. If Christians would see The Word of God, or the Bible as their God's voice for our instructions, we wouldn't be in the shape we are. Many will do what they know how from the N.T. because Jesus told them and they want to obey Jesus. But Jesus came to show us the way and He did as His Father instructed Him which is found in the Law and Prophets. God, The Father gave us instructions mainly how to honor Him, Jesus taught mainly along lines to get along with our neighbours. Although they both taught us to love God and our neighbours. Learning the armour of God is most important in order for us to stand against the world, or evil, as not to allow the world to overtake us. There are pieces of armour found throughout the Bible so it is important to start at the beginning and do what one can or knows how to do. As they read, they have to become doers of The Word. We will give you a start on the armour, but it is so important for all to seek and do what they can to arm their families and friends to stand in His Day. We need to help one another find the things that will help others to overcome the world. Let's begin with the voice of God. In the O.T. we are told to "keep", and how to "keep" the voice of The Father, the Ten Commandments, found in Deut. 6:8-9. Jesus then tells us to "keep" His Word as He kept His Father's, so we then add the Sermon on The Mount to the Ten Commandments. We now know the voice of The Father and The Son and "keep" them according to our instructions. Now, put on the voice of God and seek your instructions on your part to overcome. And don't forget to include others in your discoveries. Let's give the Bible a new look and trust to include God in our battles. Put on life, put on hope, be brave, hold your ground, and pray always.

... I always react-with-worry when I hear the phrase, "means of grace". ... I believe that "the means" is always very limited: the Word... and the Holy Spirit...... and nothing else! The so-called 'sacraments' are NEVER a means of grace.
