i am here 2 years later and this anime literally has greater potential than most new animes this season because of: Great art style excellent plot actual comedy and not just character tropes and AN ACTUAL ED WITH AN EVE SONG

I'm here, 1 year later, worried and wondering about this show. Because I want it to be big. Huge. Ranking with the top 10 popular animes. But I am guessing this pandemic just made their battle to get this show serialized an even steeper uphill incline. I am still rooting for this show.

I love Reina’s character Aki and the Mecha Udes’ voices are awesome! Some of the dub cast is a little flat in some parts in comparison to “professional” dub casts ... I like the plot and the animation so a definite thumbs up 👍🏼

I sure hope that they release some new episodes soon… I discovered this anime pilot a couple years ago and I’m surprised that it hasn’t even gotten an episode two yet… which is disappointing but I still have high hopes for this anime to be released and made into a full version…

Green hair kid's high inflections are too high, it makes him sound comical. Which is fine if that's what the goal was, but I find it hard to take him seriously. Everyone else is ok, other than some stiffness around hard syllables. As dubs go, it's aight.

I really dig this! I want more! I really hope it gets greenlit! Reina as Aki is brilliant! Not too enthusiastic about the rest of the English cast, though. At any rate, I really dig the concept! While I'm not a fan of 3DCG in anime, Mecha Ude's blend of 2D and 3D animation is actually pretty awesome! I'm excited to see where this project goes!

Finally got the chance to watch the Dub after being so busy with shchool these last couple of weeks and man it was an amazing episode!! 😄🔥 Great job on the voice acting role for Aki in both English & Japanese versions Reina!! 😊 Everyone who had contributed into this project in any way, shape, and/or form did an excellent job at what they did and I really hope this show does get the *ok* it deserves in order for it to go on with the series!! 😁😃

The plot is good The Morale is good And i love the work that put into the animation Only thing I had a problem with is the fact that the anime didn't put enough emphasis on how much energy the moves the mc were doing took The mc needs to show more sweat, more tears, and More blood, ect during battle Cuz it cought me off gard when I saw that the mc could barely move after the battle I thought what he did was effortless from the way it was portrayed Anyone else feel that way?

Reina, you and the team behind all of this did a wonderful job! The animation is dynamic and fluid. The characters are loveable with their own flavor. The world is really interesting yet believable. I hope full series comes from this. There's a lot of heart put into it and the character designs are so sharp. Also, props to the producers for dubbing this in Florida. It's nice hearing anime dubbed in a city that doesn't often do anime dubbing.

Really hope this gets a second episode. i love to know more of the lore and see more world building for how these machines act in daily life and how technology is in daily life. also i want the MC to man up and become a bad ass and use more mechanical weapons at once. also who is that guy with the same kind of arm what is his backstory why do you die when your arm get's removed. love it that they all have personalities and voices. and most importantly what does the MC do in the bathroom at night.

So def look for a different cast for the dub, though, but Reina can stay as Aki, her MechaUde are good, and Hikaru is good too. Probably just a temp cast for the pilot, but like, it’s rough.

It is. I’m just trying to highlight that some of the voice acting was superb and if not the same VAs then the direction should remain the same. A lot of it was just... painful.

Yeah it's a little bit cringy so far I think Reina is good, along with the main boy character with a bit of work. I think the Mecha are all pretty good too so far as well.

I literally LOVE both the sub and the dub of Mecha Ude. I prefer some voices in the sub over the dub, and vice versa, but they're both excellent. I think, what really edges the sub over the dub is very minor, and it's this line: "Is this the ancient Japanese tradition called "tsundere"?" This isn't to say that the dub line is inferior, because it's not, and I do really like the dub!

Yes, that line should have been kept. Goes great with the "aliens!" concept behind the robots.
