indicators can also be used to change the lanes,,,no body knows driver's intention,,,,anyway they are designed for lane change as well.,,,they blink thrice if u push /pull them a little towards ryt or left,,,,

Very helpful points. I'd also like to add about driving with high beams switched on unnecessarily which is a very common and known issue in India, yet people continue to do it. There are times when I literally had to move away my IRVM for a few minutes just because the car behind me was terribly hurting my eyes with their high beam. Another point is tailgating and stopping very close to the car in front on a red light, especially on a slope. If the driver in the car ahead of you is inexperienced then there's a very high chance their car will roll back while moving. Chances of accidents this way can be greatly reduced if only people leave a safe amount of space between cars when stopping on a slope.

he is right about the seatbelt concern, most of the cars are safety rated by ncap on the basis of the driver and passenger has taken all safety precautions already like wearing seatbelt, etc so if the tester are giving rating on the basis of your seat belt wearing why not to wear seatbelt, i know some people feel pressure on chest or feel breathlessness as you never had a habit of wearing seatbelt, you have to wear seatbelt for 2-3 days its feel strained and uncomfortable but as your body adapt you finely never sit on car seat without seatbelt.

Hazard lamps are totally fine during fog conditions. Your back lights aren't always on but only when you apply brakes...someone in speed from the back can hit you!

I know people in the back might think that the car is stationery but driver in the back will know it in a fraction that the car is moving and will also let them know that there's a car in front at the first place.

That Seatbelt mistake was so on point, Thanks For Bringing It Up Man.... no matter how strong your car is, if YOU are not bothered abt your own life sry there will times where even TATA wont be able to protect you, I admit maruti cars are soft as the company claims they make their cars pedestrian friendly, but its hurts as vitara brezza owner they ppl are afraid to maruti cars because their build quality is dogshit. Its not always abt build quality Dude, its abt YOUR SAFETY....

You told before in your beginners series that we can use turn indicators ( u can say side lights too ) to give side to the vehicle behind you to overtake you..! bhai fog me i guess hazard lamps should be used, because highways parr especially when the speed is high, kaafi aage jaakar car ke bulbs se pata chalta hai ki udhar kuch hai. Mostly because the headlamps and tail lights are stagnant. Hazard lamps blink karti hain toh andaza ho jata hai ki kuch hai udhar, much more than jo tail light ya headlamps se hoga!

Nhi brother , you have misconceptions, hazard is not given on car or bike for this purpose. It is only for stationary vehicle during breakdown.

The indicator one I watched in tarzan movie. Suppose someone want to overtake your vehicle from right lane then u can turn left indicator to make sure that I'm not gonna turn my car into right lane so u can overtake it from right side.

Bro if you are giving left indicator in that condition it means you want to either change to left lane or take a left turn. It does not mean that you are allowing the other guy to take a right overtake.

@@kv5204 just imaging there is another car in your left lane, you turn left without giving any indicator? fine for the right side car but not fine for left one. indicator aware both parties. left guy will think you going to change the lane but you did not change, but with the indicator the left side car will decress its speed and both will be in safe zone.

The inputs provided in this video is good. But couple of suggestions I have is to not drive on the wrong side on a highway as shown even if we think it is safe and only for short time.. Also dont take both hands of the wheel at any point of time while driving.

About hazard u are wrong… sometimes fog and rain suddenly comes when on highway… and if someone start hazard I get an idea of fog/rain according to weather and I slow down … and also in Jndia many a times u come across flock of cows sitting on highway person on my blind may not see it so I use hazard if I see many cows blocking lanes…

While downshifting from 4th to 3rd gear after reducing speed to the appropriate speed range i have observed the car gets a slight jerk(jhatka)...what could be the possible reason?

Thats because of lack of rev matching when engine speed is different from the vehicle speed. You can look for a tutorial for it on youtube itself, your car wont jerk after you learn that technique.

that is normal. You need to do downshift at an exact rpm to avoid this. Another option is revmatching as kv mentioned..
