There is so much captured footage out there deteriorating and needs preserving before it's lost :( I'm so fortunate to be able to do this for many customers and see some great old footage and images :)

I remember this well as I lived in Narrogin at the time I recall the ground shaking and moving from side to side, I was 6 yrs old at the time and my neighhour was carrying her newborn baby and she was screaming I recall the water in the large concrete troughs just splashing right to left and then I called to her to come with me and we ran to my house next door, We lived in a weatherboard house which incurred no damage Funniest thing was that my 7 yr old brother was in the car outside, laughing his head off, he thought it was fun Weirdest thing was how a 6 yr old girl kept a clear head and was the one looking after a grown woman. I still don't panic in situations

What amazing recall you have. It must have been very scary for a 6 year old but it sounds like you handled it well beyond your tender years. I'm sure the lady with the baby has never forgotten the help you gave her that day. I'm pleased you and your family were safe. Thanks for watching.

Spotted my uncle's BP garage there. But couldn't identiify their ruined home, though, as all the surrounding landmarks where also rubble.

Magicanimal176 Production it was 6.5, sadly caused a lot of damage. Some of the ruins are still there.
