Incredible collection!..love the Daytona's and the Super birds..I actually love just about most American vehicles ranging from 50s all the way to the 70s..personally I think they were the golden years of motor cars..nothing is more satisfying than the sound of being behind a V8! 😎

25 years ago I did a complete restoration on a hemi 4 speed, Petty blue Superbird for a customer with a large car collection. It has set with a cover on it for all those years. I feel sorry for it. At least I left it with the gas drained out of it.

That has got to be my all time favorite collection, after Tim Wellborns! Noting what they have now, consigned for Kissimmee, I can only imagine what they will have in that barn a few years on. Great cars!!!🔥🔥🔥

Actually, the Dodge/Plymouth cars only won a few more races than the Ford/Mercury cars in 1970 - The NASCAR champ in '69 was RICHARD PETTY driving a Ford!

@@SuspenseESCAPEremastered Yes. But the champion in 1970 was Bobby Isaacs driving Dodge Charger Daytona. On the other hand if Petty didn't crash in Rebel 400 at Darlington he would have won the 1970 title.

I've had a 1969 Charger 500, it was a fun car. I'm now building Mopar 4 door cars because not only are theh fun to drive but are very practical. Best thing is the public see the cars versus just sitting in a room for a few to look at.

Great collection, I love Mopars they are my favourite cars. In UK we have a few wing cars not much. My friend has a Daytona with an Arruzza 511 Hemi. For me the Wing cars are the most outrageous cars of the era.

I've been missing my 69 super Bee 383 four speed my 69 Coronet 440 my 73 Challenger 73 charger but my God man look at all of those wing cars thank you 🍀get R done😎✌️

The green wing car is my favorite...I have seen multiple wing cars at shows and museums in Chicago Florida.tennese...amazing rides

When I was a kid, I remember going by the Plymouth dealer everyday on the school bus - there as a lime green Superbird on the lot sitting unsold for 2 years!

My buddy had a Daytona back in 1981. I don't like how they look and didn't like driving in it. He eventually sold it for a couple thousand dollars.

Tommy Jett! That's what I think of. My cousin lived a quarter of a mile from a Radio Station, WGOW, it's still on Air. They had a DJ named Tommy Jett. He drove a Plum Crazy Road runner Superbird. In front of her house was a split coming off a hill. Everyday, I can't remember the time now, but if I was there, I made sure I was waiting. Man that car was so Awesome. I waved Everytime, and he waved back. I met him 10-12 years later, and told him the story. He said he remembered me, but, that's just good public relations. Maybe he remembered, maybe not. But that car is a memory from long ago. 50 years ago.

My dream car!!! Always has been, always will be for this 58 year old female!! Beats out today's cars hands down!! And every since I saw the Superbird that the EPA had built to chase jet airplanes to test emmissions, I dream about owning it one day. Now, if I could win the lottery!

It's unfortunate that these unique cars are just that and can only be enjoyed by people in a static setting. The value and rarity has taken them from the public eye for the most part.

Well, that's a good reason to build a nice clone or "tribute" car. Make it a great performer, with modern AC, 4 wheel disc brakes, suspension upgrades and an overdrive. If you do it right, it will look nice, more people will actually see it because it will be driven, it would outperform the original cars that pretty much HAVE to stay original. In many ways it's a higher return on investment because most people won't know it's a clone and you'll have plenty of attention! I have thought about doing this with my 70 Roadrunner, but I am more drawn to the "pro street" look and drag strip performance. It's hard to find a legal place to "stretch out" the legs on a wing car.

The green Plymouth was in Newport Kentucky in the late eighties early nineties a dealership in the window The aquarium sits for the dealership used to be Is Newport Kentucky

I can’t believe they’re getting rid of those, granted to collect more which is cool, but my God they have the treasure trove already! Sell one Daytona and you could have the money to add 20 more awesome cars to your collection, or buy your own private island

I went to the Street Races every Sunday night in Southern California run by "Big Willie" Robinson ,he was Never in the Special Forces nor did he spend 1 day in Vietnam he did do a Good job of Organizing the Races Though ,

With a recession looming and a possibility of a depression selling makes sense. Buying it's not a good idea I'd wait until the market crashes.
