On the morning of June 3rd 2023, Medford Firefighters responded to a reported building fire on Dartmouth St. On arrival companies had smoke showing from the attic, and upon entering the fire floor were met with a heavy volume of fire. The OIC ordered all members out of the building and companies set up several aerial master-streams. My arrival was around 10-mins into the incident but due to the quick deployment of master streams, most of the visible fire was knocked down. It was determined the fire began with a lithium-ion battery.
