Mediaeval Dance; the Basse Dance from Peter Warlock’s Capriol Suite. This set of dances was based on Thoinot Arbeau's Orchésographie, a manual of Renaissance dance. Arranged for mandolin by Allan Alexander.
Tourdion, by Pierre Attaingnant (c1500). Tourdion is a dance form, but there are lyrics to this one: (below).

It’s not medieval music, it’s the Capriol Suite written in the 20th century by Peter Warlock

Thanks for making the point. Yes, the first tune is indeed the "Bass dance" from Warlock's Capriol Suite, and most people are aware of it from this source. However, Warlock based his version on a dance tune from Arbeau’s Orchésographie’ of 1558. Well, it's Renaissance not medieval (Warlock himself said his 20th century suite was based on renaissance dances). Also don't think Attaignant published this when he was 5 years old

If you were German, I would recommend you @Geschichtsfenster for learning some truths instead of weird prejudices. "Harald Müller: Mittelalter" (a book by our Professor for medieval history at the RWTH in Aachen (Aix-la-Chapelle)) gives very good scientific information and introduction. Sadly, I personally don't know anything about conparable publications in English.
