I have worked previously in Medical Coding & thankfully left that industry. Earlier from 2015-2017, it was good field but post 2017, work culture and work ethics have tumbled to the lowest standards. The targets are unachievable and there is too much pressure. One has to even work on Sat & Sun. The worst thing in this field is the lack of holidays & the level of unprofessionalism. Managers in this field are very unprofessional these days and they have no concern about your health and mental state, all they want is targets and shouting is very common now. Also there is no skill development and automation coming up. Many people are exiting this industry day by day so do your research before coming to this field.
